Summer project No.5 is a collaborative painting project for young carers in Redbridge (age range 8-20 years).The two canvases (approx 2m x 1.5m) feature the participants’ silhouettes, which contain imagery they designed to represent their interests, aspirations and self-definition that are distinct from the responsibilties they carry in their daily lives as carers. Once the paintings have been mounted, they will be on permanent display in the headquarters of the carers services in Redbridge.
